The international event EuroTier Digital that took place from 9th to 12th February, launching the new digital platform DLG, has surprised by the high participation and has had a great impact thanks to its programme offering more than 300 specialised events, among which Livestock Genetics From Spain was present to talk about the project.

ExportGen Operational Group was present on 9 February in Hannover, with a virtual stand where visitors could ask questions and request more information about the project and about the three breeds that have initially participated in the Operational Group: Asturiana de los Valles, Rubia Gallega and Spanish Purebred.

Livestock Genetics From Spain also participated on the 10th in the Middle East Preview Day, with Jesús Centenera (AGERÓN International) and the German and Austrian Sheep and Goat Associations. This event is the prelude to the EuroTier Middle East that will take place next 7, 8 and 9 June in Abu Dhabi.

Under the title ‘Agriculture in the Food Chain’, eight simultaneous virtual channels were created, broadcasting more than 300 presentations and discussions on topics related to the global livestock sector and the energy supply industry. Altogether, these broadcasts had more than 83,000 views over the four days of the event, with a total of more than 41,000 registered attendees and 45% international participation.

With this event, the digital platform DLG has consolidated its position as a digital business network and professional exchange forum for the agricultural sector, both nationally and internationally. “The digital format will complement our upcoming trade fairs”, confirmed DLG CEO Dr Reinhard Grandke. And it has been demonstrated that the high participation in events is a clear indicator of the industry’s competence in networking and business. In total, more than 128 countries were represented on this digital platform.

The next ‘EuroTier / EnergyDecentral’ event will take place from 15th to 18th November 2022 in Hannover.
