Livestock Genetics From Spain (LGFS) is your reference channel for information on the different Spanish purebred genetics. LGFS is the place to promote your commercial network between different actors of animal genetics of any species. LGFS will position itself, with your support, promotion of the existing genetics in Spain. We add value by bringing together relevant information on breeds with export capacity, facilitating the meeting point between supply and demand.

SELECTION PROGRAMMES
The selection and breeding programmes are endorsed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA), which supervises that the objectives to maintain, improve and ensure the survival of pure and local breeds in Spain are met.
For its part, LGFS helps these breeds and this bank of genetic resources to be appreciated and valued also abroad. The genetic lines are controlled in order to reach the optimum profitability according to the available resources.
We are aware of the potential of the genetic material treasured by the different livestock species in Spain, and we know that there is a growing demand. That is why we have created Livestock Genetics From Spain (LGFS)

El objetivo es desarrollar un análisis estratégico de la internacionalización y desarrollo de estructura y protocolos de comercialización del material genético según demanda y requisitos de países objetivos para las razas participantes del proyecto y para el conjunto de la cabaña ganadera España. Organismo responsable de contenido: miembros del GO EXPORTGEN.
