During the ICAR Toledo 2023 week, RFEAGAS helped to manage the organization of European groups meetings RUMIGEN, SMARTER and ERPF of almost 180 people. Joint session of ERFP on animal genetic resources was complemented by presentation of CEO of RFEAGAS Manuel Luque Cuesta, Ph.D. on Autochthonous 100% breeds and Purebred animals, that form part of RFEAGAS.
After all, participants together with international journalists invited by ICEX-RFEAGAS collaboration agreement assisted Cocktail of Products of Purebred Spanish #Livestock animals.
The attendees had a chance to enjoy the great quality of served goat cheese, full of game of tastes and aromas of #Murciano-Granadina, #Florida and #Malagueña 100% Autochthonous breed. Sheep milk cheeses were presented with soft cheese of delicate texture Torta del Casar of #Merino 100% Autochthonous breed , and famous #Manchego Cheese, Don Quixote´s favorite snack.
Delightful #Soterano #Assaf cheese impressed with it ripening variety: mild, subtle, and strong and full-bodied with a unique farmhouse flavor.
Of course, this wide cheese degustation was complemented with sandwich with melting in your mouth steak of #Avileña Negra Ibérica and #Chorizo and #Salchichon from #Iberian Pig and best #Spain #wine of Castilla-La Mancha region.
